This will probably be the

This will probably be the last entry before we go off to get our pockets picked by well-trained teams of tourist abusing street thugs. Viva la wallet. There are apparently tons of cybercafes in Paris, so ideally I get to update the site and check my fantasy football picks from the Mulan Rouge.

Here's the site I've been building for the last 7 weeks. You can't really see the stuff I did, which hopefully means that if you find a problem, it's not my fault.

In the last 7 days, I got stood-up for lunch 3 times by the same person. I thought that must be some kind of world record, but I couldn't find any reference to it. WARNING: That is one of the worst sites I've ever been to. All that flash makes me puke. It's not bad in a 'good' way, like Koshernosh, it's just annoying.

Surprise, it turns out TRL

Surprise, it turns out TRL is fixed. Now who will the kiddies turn to for honest, righteous entertainment? I know! Oh, wait, she's pretty much a tool, even though she won't admit it. I believe you Britney!

My gig at IBS is up on Friday. Back to Butler I go, I go.

While making pickles the other

While making pickles the other day, I sliced up my finger pretty good. It's finally healed enough that I can type comfortably, though I'm still not 100%. What kind of a wuss injury is that?

I had some good laughs the other day at Stick Figure Death Theatre. Some are good, some are bad. This one is just awesome.

How can you argue with

How can you argue with the fair? Where else can you see little old ladies (wearing pickle hats) looking at quilts with a large, hairy man in a Sturgis t-shirt (and a pickle hat). And those jars of canned fruits and vegetables all perfectly arranged and lit from behind. And the studly lumberjacks, and the As Seen On TV products, and the nomorewaitonemores. Where else can you sit on the curb and eat 32 oz of fresh cut fries? Or a foot long hot dog? Or some fresh roasted corn? Or some little donuts? Or a malt? Nowhere that I know.

Big weekend on the way.

Big weekend on the way. The Big Wu are playing the Zoo, I'm playing some paintball, and the State Fair is in town. Everybody wang-chung tonight.

It was actually $53. The guy on the motorcycle that rode by without a helmet on and I had a good laugh over that one.

I know I don't contribute

I know I don't contribute too often, but this gem is too good to pass up. Dave is notorious for not wearing his seatbelt in the car - a fact that the St. Louis Park Police discovered when they pulled him over last week! $60 later a lesson is finally learned.Dave still doesn't believe that I didn't tip them off.

Well, Team Yep won it

Well, Team Yep won it all again! At some point you've gotta ask yourself when we'll just hang up the cleats and let somebody else have a chance. Who knows? I try not to predict things - especially the future - but I'd guess there might be a three-peat in the making. For now, on to touch football.

Well done to all on Team Yep!

Last weekend I added the ability to add comments to pictures. Have fun.

My fantasy football draft is

My fantasy football draft is tomorrow. That gives me 24 hours to prepare. Good thing I only need like 10 minutes to print out a cheat sheet.

Somebody asked me about my McBoycott. Here's an interesting book that talks about the fast food industry in general. I'm not as cranked-up as some of the reviewers on Amazon are, but I thought it was worth sharing.

We went to the neighbor's

We went to the neighbor's yesterday for their daughter's 1st birthday party. I was pumped to go to an Edina birthday party, but it turns out they just have pizza and cake like every other party you ever went to as a kid. Where was the petting zoo? Where was the clown or the magician? Excuse me, you're blocking the TV.

Two weeks until we head to France. I'm a little nervous because I only really know how to say 'coffee' and 'boobs'. That's probably enough for Paris, but what about when we leave the city?

Team Yep continues to dominate

Team Yep continues to dominate Twin Cities Softball. I've been playing some catcher lately - I think skip is catching on that my rumored mobility is just that. It's fun talking with the other team, especially when they've got the big head going.

I've got another website in the works. Watch this space for more information.

Yesterday, I worked downtown for

Yesterday, I worked downtown for a client and I went back to my standard lunch spot to eat. I don't know how I ate there for so long, that place will kill ya. Trouble is, with my boycott going strong, soon I won't have any place left to eat.

Libby's 10 year reunion was

Libby's 10 year reunion was a good time. You have the same conversation over and over with different people, but it's neat to see what other people are up to. Only one guy turned out to be a porn star, so the rest of the professions were pretty much boring after you met him.

Ok. I don't hate the

Ok. I don't hate the radio. Hate is too strong of a word, but radio makes... me... so... mad!!! Whew. Plus, my little-little-siter-in-law is going into radio, so I've gotta start liking so I can listen to her.

For some reason, on my way to work, I always pass a whole bunch of UPS trucks. I think I must drive by their office or something. Today, there were like 15 of them all lined up on the highway. It was neat.

I've decided I hate radio.

I've decided I hate radio. Well, not all radio, but enough of it that I don't care to listen too often. In any event, it's mostly because of commercials and the crappy songs they keep playing. And I meen keep playing.

To help me vent, I've launced a new section here on doodledee. It's thin for now, and probably wont grow too fast, but it'll be fun anyway.

Well, I'm back from my

Well, I'm back from my trip. My feet are sore, my legs don't work anymore, and my clothes are so dirty I may just burn them. All in all, a great trip...Pictures up soon.

GameSpy finished their Top 50 Games of All Time. The top 10 is a good read, even though I [surprise] don't totally agree with the conclusion.

I'm off to Isle Royal

I'm off to Isle Royal for some serious hiking and hopefully some serious relaxation. Check in on Libby for me.
