Yesterday, Target was selling Krispy

Yesterday, Target was selling Krispy Kreme donuts for a fund raiser. Once the word got out - which didn't take long - they were all over downtown Minneapolis. I stockpiled some in my desk, so I'm enjoying them this morning as well. This is the first time I've ever gotten fat for a good cause.

Have you ever noticed that

Have you ever noticed that when you're in an elevator full of people that the person by the buttons always pushes the button for their floor every time somebody gets off? They never push the button for the next floor, only for theirs.

There was a list of

There was a list of songs going around that Clear Channel had dictated that their stations not play in the wake of the Attacks. According to Clear Channel the list was bogus, and I believe them. That said, it was fun to watch people get angry that songs might not get played on the radio. I'm thinking that the playlist of most CC stations is probably around 75 songs, carefully chosen to not offend and to hook listeners. Wonder why nobody got upset before?

We made it home yesterday

We made it home yesterday night and are now working off our jet lag. Thanks to all who wrote and asked how we were doing.

The whole trip was a blast. There'll be pictures up soon.

Another update - this time

Another update - this time from Montpellier. It is much hotter here, probably because the Romans hung around this area more. Having a great time in the south and looking forward to seeing more of Provence over the next few days.

Tonight for dinner I had some french fries. They were damn good.

I am taking some good notes and plan on doing more of a summary when we return. Something to look forward to, I guess.

Well, we are in Paris!

Well, we are in Paris! It is hard to type because the keyboard is goofy, so I will just say that we are having a blast and eating a ton and drinking a bunch of cafe and walking all over and peeing (my-dave) pants on top of the eiffel tower. Booya!
