Just like every other year, all the Halloween candy is gone except the Jolly Ranchers. For some reason, nobody ever eats them. Maybe, like me, people don't really like hard candy all that much. Or maybe people are jolly enough without the help of some 'rancher'.

I also read today that when the Taliban left Kabul, a bunch of guys shaved off their beards. People choose to shave when they don't have to? I'm growing one out to maintain universal beard entropy.
