Last week, the NY Times

Last week, the NY Times Magazine ran a cover story about beef in America. The author followeda cow basically from birth to slaughter and commented on the process along the way.There were some vague conclusions drawn about the bizarre nature of beefproduction, but for the most part it was reasonably balanced and fact driven.

Next week, Frontline isdoing their own report on beef production. Knowing Frontline, it'll be very good, too.
