file under: murphy's law

For those of you following my plumbing disaster, you'll be happy to know that I've knocked down huge portions of our dining room ceiling to make room for the new pipes and that I've already called a couple of plaster guys to come talk about repairing the damage once the new pipes are installed. I hope that's the right order.

Needless to say I've eaten my fair share of grit over the last couple of nights. And I probably sucked in enough dust to take 5 years off my life. (Yes, I wore a mask.) But hey, I'm probably about 2/3 done, so that's something. Wee!

With luck the plumbing guy will come early, early next week to start the 'corrective' side of the 'destroy and correct' plan that I'm operating under. Should only take him a day at most to do his thing.

When it's all over, everyone is invited over to the house for a free shower.

Bring your own soap.

(Except you, KC. You've helped so much I'll let you use mine.)
