the shelter the campers slept in apparently had bats living in it, so maybe the kids got bitten and maybe they didn't and maybe they have rabies and maybe they don't. i wouldn't normally post something like this, but it dovetails with the meerkat hysteria from last week, so i figured it was worth it. here's hoping don shelby does a misty-eyed soliloquy on the death of the bats like he did for the meerkats. nostradoodle predicts he won't. nostradoodle also predicts this story won't generate 21 pages of comments like the meerkat one did. huh.
