why don't kids deliver newspapers anymore? [freakonomics]
i had an afternoon paper route when i was a kid, but up here in the cities our paper boy is always some dude in a van or something. i can't imagine some kid on a skateboard delivering papers at 5am. did that really used to happen? i'm pretty sure our little neighborhood paper is delivered by kids, so that's something.

Libby thought:
Nope - even our neighborhood paper is delivered by adults. They both take a side of the street and when they're done they meet at the corner and move on to the next street. Sometimes they have smoke while they're waiting, so I know they (should) be older than 18.
