"tour in tatters" after rasmussen fired by team [nyt]

we went back to poverty basic cable last spring, so i've been forced to follow along on the web, but even without the teevee coverage it's easity to see the long shadow being cast by rasmussen's firing and yesterday's vino news. yuck. in other news: what's up with the nyt popping up a search for anything you highlight in an article now? i'm going to have to clear that with my usability wife before i object too strongly, but it feels a little weird to me.
