i'll fess-up that i tried harder than usual not to post this, but now that i've broken it down for like 5 or 6 different people, i kinda feel obligated to admit that i thought it was a fun read. because it was. and it would make a good movie, too. so there. back when i was 12 a visit to a place like medieval times would have been mind bending. as it was, i didn't go until i was maybe 17 and by then i was much more disaffected than wide-eyed. it was still fun cheering and stuff, though, so don't think i just sat and sulked. because that's just lame.
