remember that time i wrote to dara@citypages to comment that the butcher shop at costco was a place that people shopped and that when when she sings the praises of local butchers like clancy's - a store i also lurve, btw - that she shouldn't be so quick to dismiss costco because nfw are people paying clancy's prices day in and day out and maybe costco isn't capital-e evil. and then remember how she wrote back and called me an idiot and basically told me where to go? that was awesome. and i'm not saying this article changes any of that - i'm obviously still and idiot - i'm just sayin' it reminded me of that exchange and i laughed.
