hoffmaldo and i have been debating the level of genius that conan is showing in this "hey, look, we're back on the air!" phase of the writer's strike. it usually goes like this. me: "zomg, it's genius". him: "nah, it's stupid". aaaaand scene. here's the part where you watch this [genius] video and take a side. hint: it's genius.

I'm for sure on the Conan side. Genius indeed, at least as far as this clip is concerned. And isn't he looking better these days?

i wouldn't necessarily say 'better', but i'd certainly say 'terrified'.
