remember when bk tried table service? was that back during the hoffmaldo years? yeah, somehow i think this is going to go about the same. also this: dq g&c is actually a decent little lunch spot.

    Hoffmaldo reports that during his BK stint from 1988 to 1991, he did in fact provide table service after 5:30 PM to dine-in patrons. The meals were moved to 'baskets' for better presentation and offerings included baskets of fried shrimp along with mini-burgers. Most patrons were uncomfortable with this new approach and just stood at the counter anyway.
    You see, after you fill your soda and sit down, the food is already there anyway. And if its not, then why didn't we just go across the street to FU**ING TGI FRIDAYS!. Sorry sir, would you like a free apple pie?

    i remember getting bk table service one and only one time back in those days and even as a kid it was profoundly uncomfortable.

    and sure, that pie sounds great.
