"throughout [trek's] relationship with lemond, the cyclist would renege on promises, like saying he would curb his comments about doping and focus more on the brand." those of us who can read will notice that trek didn't argue that he was *wrong* about the doping stuff, just that he should focus more on the brand. because presumably his 'brand' has nothing to do with being an outspoken anti-doper? do those dots connect?
